Wynyard Quarter PART D
No sooner has the Wynyard Quarter opened to the public and The Viaduct Events Centre is already hosting the Auckland Art Fair. Our latest exhibition venue is proving to be a money spinner and will host events such as The Auckland Boat Show, New Zealand Fashion Week and many other exciting events. The view from the square in front of the VEC is something that we have never been able to see before but nothing beats the vista that you get from the viewing deck. We love the curves, the use of glass, the ramp leading to the viewing deck (where is the public seating for the elderly ?) and the fact that you can look into the exhibition centre and view the display from above. A whole new world has been revealed, go and take it all in.
Just look at that view, sweet as ! I wasn’t too excited about the design of the VEC but now that it is finished I love it.
Indeed, a new world has opened up for all of us to enjoy.
