World’s Top 25 Most Liveable Cities
Auckland moves up to position # 13
Lucky number thirteen for us, the lifestyle and design bible – Monocle Magazine – has ranked Auckland as the thirteenth most liveable city in the World. In 2009 we ranked at #20 and in 2010 we remained at position #20. This year we have jumped 7 places, one of the biggest movers on the chart. Monocle Magazine feel that we live in exciting times and agree with us becoming a Super City and they love Mayor Len Brown – so do we. They do however warn us that this is the time for the Auckland Council to be bold and adventurous, not anything that we didn’t know – we have been saying this all along. Give yourself a pat on the back Auckland, you deserve it.
