We shall never forget
New Zealand honors the ANZAC’s.
At 6am on Monday, 25 April 2011, a Commemorative Service will be held in front of The Auckland Museum in order to honor those who died and fought for New Zealand and Australia. The Auckland Museum will open at 6:45am for a full day of activities, this is an opportunity to look at the past and to capture the spirit of ANZAC Day. We were there to witness the illumination of The Auckland Museum, poppy red and glowing in the night sky. It is an incredible sight to behold and we at Eye on Auckland pay tribute to all of those who fought for our freedom. We shall never forget.

I really like the way they have transformed the Museum at night with the new lighting. I need to go spend a night at the Museum
I was in awe of the changes that have taken place around the cenotaph. It is looking great and the attention to detail is refreshing. A night at the museum sounds like a great idea
That photograph of Auckland museum is sooooo cool.

One of Auckland’s best looking buildings. I love the new addition at the back, it is very sculptural.
