Urban Bonsai 2011
New Zealand Sculpture OnShore 2011
Fort Takapuna Historic Reserve is one of Auckland’s best kept secrets, an amazing cliff-top site with incredible views over the Hauraki Gulf and the majestic island of Rangitoto. – and then there is over 100 original works of art created by New Zealand artists ! We loved the views, the ambience, the art works and the biggest surprise of all was Fort Takapuna which was built between 1886 and 1889. It is a great day out for the entire family and you don’t have to be an art lover to appreciate this event. We look forward to NZ Sculpture OnShore 2012 and all that it has to offer.

I managed to make it last year and it was a great experience. The clifftop location is tops (no pun intended!) Of course the bus drops you right outside which is a plus.
I forgot to add – great snaps!
Thanks mate
It is definitely worth the trip and I am sure that the next exhibition will be even better
The girlfriend dragged me with, I find these kind of things very boring but I must say that the location is sweet as.
Not my thing either but I do appreciate all the work and effort that goes into this, I also appreciate the photographs. Thanks eye on Auckland
My kind of thing
Did you go to the Waiheke sculptural exhibition ?
@ Matt … yes I did go and will post pics when I catch up. Watch this space
